I discover Bookbuilders of Boston!

Last night, I attended the 60th New England Book Show and award dinner, at Boston Symphony Hall.  I had a great time!

I mean, collectively, these are definitely my people!  Designers, graphic artists, editors, paper & binding experts, and others, all involved in the craft of creating a book that looks right, feels good to hold in your hands, and presents its content in a way that seems natural and accessible.

I had fascinating conversations with a variety of other people who attended. I came away glad that I had taken the risk to show up at a gala event hosted by an organization I knew nothing about a few days ago.

I'm definitely going next year!
