Thursday morning (March 1st), I attended the ribbon cutting of Stillwater Bookstore in Pawtucket, RI. The owners have put together a wonderful independent bookstore, so if you're in the area, drop in for a visit. It's an exit off-and-on-again from Interstate Route 95. Charlotte Pierce and I drove down to participate in the festivities. And I dropped off five copies of my book, "a man wearing a dress!"
We were lucky - the weather was sunny and mild. The next day would have been very different! A big storm was about to come in!

Don't you just hate it when you wait in a long line, drive for hours or remain on hold on the phone for the longest time you have experienced which always beats the last time, only to find out the one you've been looking for is no longer available? I used to cry a lot when this happens to me but lately I am beginning to trust the universe more and just let it bring me the things I needed at the best time. If I don't get what I thought I need, I just try to accept it and I usually get a better deal when I continue to remain positive.

I'm a social activist who still needs to pay the mortgage, eat, and do the laundry.  But, more than that, I'm a love activist.  I want to make life better without having to say there's anything wrong with it now.
